Jeep Avenger 4xe (2025): A Powerful All-Wheel-Drive Upgrade
One of the best-selling models from the American automaker under the Stellantis group, the Jeep Avenger receives a major upgrade in 2025. The new 4xe version introduces an all-wheel-drive system, along with a mid-range trim called Overland. We had the opportunity to test this version and bring you exclusive insights.
Enhanced Performance with Hybrid All-Wheel Drive
Jeep expands its Avenger lineup with a new 4WD variant. After launching an electric and mild hybrid version, the brand now offers the 4xe, which we tested in Italy. Positioned between the Upland and The North Face limited edition, the Overland trim starts at €34,750, with deliveries expected from May.
Engine and Performance
The Jeep Avenger 4xe is powered by a 1.2L turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 136 hp, complemented by two 28 hp electric motors. One motor is integrated into the 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the other is placed on the rear axle. With a weight of 1,475 kg (compared to 1,280 kg for the 100 hp hybrid), this version offers improved performance: 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds (vs. 10.4 seconds for the standard hybrid) and a top speed of 194 km/h.
